| 520 | _aThe ex-gratia appointment policy has been reviewed here keeping in view the various court judgements, the Government of India policy, the hardship and harassment caused to the bereaved family due to the waiting period involved in getting such appointments. It is felt that in the changed economic scenario the number of posts falling vacant for employment would be bare minimum to accommodate all ex-gratia cases. The Government in order to mitigate their hardship has provided an alternate financial package of one time lump sum payment or restricted employment so that a time-bound decision can be taken. - Reproduced. | ||
