520			_aFoetal wastage and infant mortality rate were studied in two tribal groups (Oraon and Korwa) of Gumia district of Jharkhand. In Korwa the foetal loss and infant mortality were found more in comparison to Oraon. Maximum aboritions and still birth of were found in the mothers of age groups 40+ years.
