| 520 | _aThe Indian society has traditionally been biased against the social progress among women. Although they play an active and sometimes even equal role in the agricultural and other rural livelihood vocations yet their educational, social and economic status is not a matter of concern. These inequalities get magnified by the other prevalent factors in our social fabric, based on caste, community and class which have a significant impact on the abysmal status of women in different spheres.
