520 _aSince the close of the ethnic conflict in 2001 with the Ohrid Framework Agreement, Macedonia has adjusted its structure of government and modes of governance in order to allow for participation of minority groups in policymaking, but also to strengthen their representation in politics and public administration. This article evaluates the application of the principle of just and equitable representation of minority groups in the Macedonian civil service. It argues that the OFA provides for representation of ethnic Albanians in public administration, but fails to achieve the same with other minority groups. - Reproduced.
