Summary, etc This study examines the health hazards faced by workers engaged in the e-waste sector in Bangladesh. Like many other developing countries, Bangladesh has experienced a tremendous spurt in economic growth. The demand for electrical and electronic equipment has increased simultaneously. About 42 informal recycling workers from Dhaka city were interviewed to evaluate the immediate effect of micro scale exposure
to toxic chemicals. The findings indicate that the e-waste workers suffer from several health hazards and receive no health benefits or compensation for injuries.- Reproduced
