Measurement of the outcomes of training is a big question for any trainer, training agency or for an organization which is investing its budget towards training. Various models (e.g., Kaufman CIPP, Kirkpatrick four-level approach, etc.) have been proposed in the literature to measure/evaluate the effectiveness of training. This study aims to provide a comparative review of the various theories proposed by researchers for evaluating the training effectiveness. Organizations’ have to make a choice for utilizing a suitable training effectiveness evaluation model based on their training goals and objectives. – Reproduced
