Instead of hearing the allegation of `internal colonialism' time and again from the regions demanding the formation of new smaller states, emanating from a perceived neglect, it is high time one looks at the formation of smaller states as a technique of good governance. What backs such claim are the historical force and sense of identity as a people with distinct identity. - Reproduced.
