State of human development in India

There has been a steady growth in the population but a lot is still left to be desired on ensuring health care and education for masses. In order to evaluate the state of human development in the country this article tries to assess the three basic parameters of human development, i.e., economic attainment or well being, education and health, in some detail. - Reproduced.
